for those of you that don’t regularly check moped army, mopedjay (a former khz, current friend) was in the process of moving to florida and was run over by a truck while riding down there. right now he has two broken legs, arm, pelvis, sternum, and other bones from what i have heard. he is a great guy, and needs all the help he can get now. he will be coming back up to massachusetts once it is safe to transport him. if you can’t give money, please support him through recovery through the coming months….but please, get him some money

i wasn’t around this weekend, but a bunch of area riders and khz got together and organized a ride for motobrokane and some some of the port city peds guys from portsmouth, nh. it looked like a great ride. i’m glad so many people made it out….and it wasn’t freezing! thanks to doug, dave, and the other guys for their organization
this is an oldie, but a goodie. cool kids from chicago. you get some peddy cash and murder club riders around 2:26. hopefully their new full length will come soon
there was a scooter rally that a bunch of kHz went to in boston. the video that fuel shot is great and seems to talk more about the mopeds than scooters. see corey kHz talk about mopeds.

i picked this up about a month back and hadn’t had a chance to work on it until this week. it is a 1985 puch maxi sport LS. it came to me in great cosmetic shape, but was lacking a carb and some decent tires. with the addition of a 15mm bing, high flow air filter, tecno estoril pipe, and a new set of gazelles, the bike came together. this is the perfect bike for riding the city – accellerates quickly and tops out in the low 30s.
the bike is on a trailer now for the FTW rally in chicago this coming weekend. many thanks to sheila and aaron for transporting this, and a few other, bikes to chicago.
